Achieve the smile you want, the way you want it
When considering straightening your smile, it’s important to choose the treatment that's right for you and your lifestyle. Invisalign is a clear aligner system that are cutom made for you to gently and gradually shift your teeth into position.
With many different clear aligner systems now on the market, Invisalign remains the most advanced clear aligner system in the world, proven by over 8 million satisfied smiles. The SmartTrack® aligner material, SmartForce® features and SmartStage® technology have been specifically designed to optimize tooth movement control and aligner-patient fit.
Should I choose Invisalign or Braces?
Am I suitable for Invisalign?
Whilst the technology behind clear aligner treatment has advanced in leaps and bounds, there is not a one-size-fits-all treatment modality for aligning teeth. Therefore it is important for you to have a professional consultation with a clinican who has experience in both Invisalign and traditional braces.
Some individual and lifestyle factors to be considered:
Are your treatment objectives complex?
Do you require extractions to straighten your teeth?
Is an invisible option important to you?
Are you committed to wearing an appliance 20-22 hours per day?
Are you forgetful or often misplace things?
Are you a foodie? Can you give up hard and crunchy or sticky foods?
As a general rule of thumb, significantly crowded teeth that require extractions maybe treated more predictably with braces. Most other cases that can be treated non-extraction can be treated with either traditional braces or Invisalign.
How does Invisalign work?
